Install Korvus on your Shopify or Shopify Plus store.

Installing on Shopify

With Google Tag Manager (recommended)

If you already use GTM on your Shopify store, follow the GTM installation guide.

Through your Shopify theme

1. In the Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Edit code
2. Open the theme.liquid file
3. Paste the Korvus snippet just before the </head> tag:

4. Replace VOTRE_CLE_API with your key
5. Click Save

Shopify-specific setup

Korvus automatically detects the following on Shopify:

• Product pages (PDP): through the /products/ URL
• Collection pages (PLP): through the /collections/ URL
• Checkout: through Shopify Analytics events
• Out of stock: through a disabled add-to-cart button

Korvus app (checkout)

The snippet cannot see the Shopify checkout: the platform isolates it from the rest of your store. To cover this step, Korvus installs a dedicated app that adds a checkout pixel.

The app captures:

• Funnel progression: checkout entry, payment entry, order confirmed.
• Promo codes applied at checkout: the code entered and the discount obtained.
• Promo codes rejected at checkout: the code your customer typed that the checkout did not accept. This lets the Promo codes Sentinel tell a working code from a failing one.
• Linking the order to the visitor's session, to rebuild the full journey.

The pixel runs in an isolated sandbox: it does not read your checkout's DOM and has no access to any of your customers' data, whether bank cards, cart contents or contact details.

When a code is rejected, only the code is sent: the error message shown to your customer never is, and no other checkout alert (address, contact, payment) is read. This filtering happens in the browser, before anything is sent.

Installation goes through a Shopify authorization, not a change to your theme. Email [email protected] to get it started.

Shopify Plus

For Shopify Plus stores with a customized checkout, Korvus integrates through the checkout.liquid file with the same snippet.

Verification

Once installed, the first sessions show up in your Korvus dashboard within a few minutes. Browse your store to generate test traffic.
